Description

Subject line tells it all - I think that this certainly would be a bug? Happens on Win 7 with 64-bit version, including 4.1.0-rc1-2012-03-19 r19642.

In practice what happens is that if you're inspecting say the parameters of the registration panel then all sorts of things get changed around just cause u r using mouse and wheel to scroll the panel.

This may or not be related to http://www.na-mic.org/Bug/view.php?id=1462

Additional Information

To reproduce:

  • Start Slicer
  • Choose Data module
  • mouse over Scene Model field
  • flick mouse wheel

The error is that the value of the Scene Model field now changes with wheel.

I agree this is an issue that should be fixed. It happens that people try to scroll through a module panel and can end up changing values accidentally, and this can influence the analysis results.

The issue may be fixed for ctkComboBoxes, but not for other important cases.

For example, go to the Execution Model Tour and use the mouse wheel to scroll through the parameter scrolling area. When your a slider or spin box is scrolled to hte point where it is under the mouse cursor, it gets the focus and the values start changing (and the scroll area stopps moving even though it is not at its end).

I conformed this on a mac build.
