Summary0004362: Segment Editor Scissors behavior should mimic the draw tool
Description

The scissors features is a super useful tool in the new segment editor. One that that would improve its usefulness however is if free form mimicked the draw tool. Right now it most be dragged around and as soon as the mouse button is released it applies. It would be far more helpful to allow dragging OR clicking to create straight lines. The ability to use x to get rid of bad segments of it prior to execution would be very helpful as well. Thanks!

Yes, this would be a useful editing mode. It could be a new mode, in addition to freehand (maybe called "segment").

For now, you can press Esc to cancel while drawing (instead of erasing just the last segment with 'x') and there is only one straight segment (the last one).
