Summary0004237: Upload Slicer 3.x release binaries on slicer.kitware.com
Description

As reported by Paul Penkalski, on this page:

https://www.slicer.org/pages/Special:SlicerDownloads

after selecting Type of Download, Operating Sysadm and File, clicking on "Download" redirect to:

http://www.slicer.org/js/download.php

It turns out that the page "Special:SlicerDownloads" needs to be edited to use:

https://www.slicer.org/js/download.php

instead of

http://www.slicer.org/js/download.php

WORKAROUND

Editing the page in place using the web browser developer tool, and changing the URL to https, will allow to successfully download an older version.

I found out about this yesterday too and we were able to get it resolved on the server side. The slicer3 download page is working now, but I agree the file browser interface is much nicer to use than the popup menus.
