load the sample volume (resolution is 11.93 microns)
turn on the volume rendering
Notice how far off the object is

ZOom in to have sufficient view of the emryo

Measure some sort of length (for example height from IS axis)
Notice the size of the default label in relation to the sample (this can be adjusted from the annotation tab)

Go to annotations tab

Modify the settings for the ruler.
Text scale 0.2 gives a reasonably sized text, but the format is in scientific convention which is not ideal (plus it is missing the mu).

Go to the lines tab, adjust the tick spacing to 1000microns notice the size of the ticks. At this point you can't adjust the width. Width field doesn't take a decimal).

Create a linear transform and move the volume to the transformed.
Try using the slider for translation. (Adjusting the min and max and letting the slider continuously move between those min/max range may resolve the problem)
