Summary0000031: Feature request for mapping data to 3D surface
Description

I thought it would be a good idea to implement a feature in Slicer3 that would allow you to project data onto a 3D surface. For example if you had a 3D model of a structure and some fMRI data, it would be great to be able to display that data on the surface model. This feature would be similar to the render command in SPM, if you are familiar with that.

Hi John - in slicer3 there's now a "Probe Volume with Model" command line module that may do what you have in mind. -Steve

Closing. Slicer3 is not being developed anymore.
