Additional Information

As long as BatchProcessing mode is required to get decent performance from MRML, this could be considered as evidence that event propagation and node lookup need improvement. Tangentially, eliminating BatchProcessing would simplify MRML API interaction considerably for core and end-user developers.

Windows 7 64-bit, nightly 2012-11-25. Fast machine: dual Xeon 2.4Ghz, 12 GB ram, NVIDIA Quadro FX 1800.

Isaiah, this is pretty old issue, is it still a problem? I don't think there is an easy solution in 4.4 release time frame.
