Summary0002748: Volumes loaded from DICOM marked as modified on save
Description

The format for volumes is automatically initialized to NRRD. If the checkbox is unchecked on save, the scene loaded does not contain the volume, so it is apparently not possible to save a scene to reference the original DICOM volume.

Tested in 4.2.0 r21336.

The reason was that the storage node used to read the volumes was deleted after read. Unrelated to earlier issue 0001817.

Fix was submitted to Steve/Jiulien review Nov 14 https://github.com/fedorov/Slicer/tree/2748-Add-scalar-volume-load

Steve could you confirm that the topic proposed by Andriy work as expected ? If yes, either ask him to integrate so that he gets the credits or integrate yourself and credit him :)

JC, I talked to Steve today, and he could not confirm the issue was resolved. I tested on my side, and it works for me, so I am not sure what to do. Maybe I will try to catch Steve tomorrow so we can look together. Can you test this fix?
