Summary | 0002419: Support for cursor modes
Description | Currently very limited support for cursor modes is provided (cursor changes when the annotations are being placed). This leads to rather un-intuitive behavior of the application where the user is not informed of the enabled action. It would be a lot more intuitive to change mouse pointer based on the active function. This would apply for application-level functionality (w/l, zoom, pan) and should also be controllable on the module level (for example, change the mouse pointer based on the active tool in Editor). Support for cursor modes would make Slicer behavior consistent with other imaging workstations (Siemens syngo.via, GE Adwantage WS, ClearCanvas -- all support cursor modes).
