Summary | 0002185: Update infrastructure so that new Volume Rendering technique can be added as extension
Description | // --------------- This is Elvis, we've met in Salt Lake the past Jan. We have fine-tuned our CUDA volume renderer such that it now takes a standard 1D transfer function, so it should be a drop-in replacement for vtkVolumeMapper. Unfortunately, I really don't have time to incorporating it into Slicer. I'll be in the Slicer meeting next week (Boston). Will you be able to help me (take the lead) on incorporating the CUDA volume renderer into Slicer 4? Please let me know. If you can take the lead on this one, I'll be more than happy to supply our source code. // ---------------
