The following template has been created [1]:

documentation/doxygen-base-url

It is valid on any page having a prefix of the form: "Documentation/X.Y"

It basically expands to:

documentation/{{documentation/version}}/doxygen-base-url

Currently, the following template has also been created:

documentation/4.1/doxygen-base-url

and it expands to "http://slicer.org/doc/html/"

Later on, assuming our doxygen documentation is hosted on url of the form:
http://slicer.org/doc/4.0/html/
http://slicer.org/doc/4.1/html/
http://slicer.org/doc/4.2/html/
http://slicer.org/doc/Nightly/html/

We could probably remove the intermediate templates of the form "documentation/4.1/doxygen-base-url" and have [1] directly expand to the expected doxygen url base.
