Its hidden in the reference manual style.
I suggest to explain some of the workflows under tutorials:
-I have a dicom series on a cd, how do I get it into slicer?
- import into the data base (copy or not)
- load from the data base into slicer
-I want to connect to a pacs system.
-I want to delete something from the local data base
-what is a local database

Import: Use this to add DICOM files from your local file system into
