Description

From Zach Mullen - May 22, 2012:

Currently, sysadmin is tuning the parameters on our mod_evasive, specifically regarding the download path. We have limited the number of maximum simultaneous open connections for a single IP address to the download controller. Hopefully this will help stop the spam download problem.

On download.slicer.org, Michael H. is planning to change the download link to redirect to the restricted download path. He said it should be done by this evening.

There are times when it's nice to be able to cut and paste the direct download URL from the page into a curl or wget command, for example when you want to install to a remote machine. Will this still be available?

Yep! Our attempts to thwart the bad robot downloads appear to have worked for now.
