Description

Resulting a Slicer hangout discussion, it has been decided to create a set of Documentation/Nightly documentation pages.
This starts to be critical as new development is being integrated into Slicer post 4.1

Extra care must be done to keep the history of each page when branching from 4.1 documentation.

The mwclient API also provide a "revisions" attribute associated with the page. It should be possible to copy the history other. mwdoc project will have to be updated.

If issue related to revision of wiki page is not critical, this could be done.

I had an other look to the "revision" issue and i could do something like that:

  • loop over all revision of the pages, and do as many edit as there are revision.

Doing so would allow to have the same amount of revision. That said, I am not sure yet how to easily set the username and the revision timestamp associated with each revision.

I am sure this all doable by hacking further into the "mwclient" library ... I believe this would be time consuming. The time being I will proceed using the existing methods.
