Summary0001984: An option to load bmp/jpegs as scalar and be able to choose between RGB and 8 bit grayscale
Description

It would be a good feature to provide options to load image stacks as scalar instead of the default vectorvolume. Also it would be nice to be able to choose between RGB and 8 bit grayscale.

The VectorToScalar Volume module provides an option for doing this operation after the load is completed. Doing this at load time could be more efficient for people.
