Summary | 0001952: camera position after loading scene
Description | It used to be that when I loaded/restored a scene, the camera position was set to where it was when the scene was stored. This is not the case any longer. load data, save a scene after rotating the 3D viewer away from default, exit slicer, restore the scene.

This is the default behavior when "adding"/importing a scene. If you "load" a scene instead, the camera is correctly restored. |
|
We have standardized on the add Data button for all non dicom loading. The above should be the default behavior, with not updating the camera as an option. |
|
It is important that we present the end user a single load option with assumptions what they might want and everything else under advanced. The situation in Slicer 3 with many different options was not good. |
