What's the status of your cache ?
Edit > Application Settings > Cache Settings
Is there enough cache ?
What happens if you clean the cache and try to download sample data again ?

Cleaning the cache solved the issue - thanks!

Is there a way to display a warning to the user when the cache is getting closed to the limit ( the cache size was 125 MB when I cleaned it up).

Sample Data should advice the user that if it fails to download the data it's probably because the user runs out of cache.

Limited size cache is no longer used for SampleData download.
