Summary0001664: Installation failure of Slicer 4.0.1 on Mac OS 10.5.8
Description

I downloaded the binary distribution for Mac OS X and then I opened the .dmg volume.
After that I saw within the mounted volume 4 objects: a link to /Applications folder, a Slicer.app folder and two other folders (include and lib). I simply drag the Slicer.app into the /Applications folder.

At this point, if I double-click the /Applications/Slicer.app icon I get the error window (The application Slicer quit unexpectedly) and the application doesn't start. The details of the problem are the followings:

Do you still experience issue with a recent package ?
See http://slicer.cdash.org/viewFiles.php?buildid=13631

Ps: Some maintenance is currently undergoing on kitware network, the download may fail. (Or if you see this message three month from now .. the package will probably be purged)
