Summary0001598: Add volume resets slice orientation
Description

If I configure slices to have the same projection plane (say, axial), and then add data to the scene (e.g. using "add data" or from DICOM module), the red/yellow/green slices are reset to have axial/sag/cor orientation.

I'm reasigning this to the Link GURU (Jim). I think this has the same underlying issue and needs the same level of thought as the updated layouts of scene views with linked viewers.

I'm not sure what the answer should be...

This is high priority as it significantly reduces the value of sceneviews.

Andrey, can you verify that this is indeed fixed? I followed your instructions and it seems to be resolved.
