Summary0001584: Simplified initial presentation of the brainsfit module
Description

I have been thinking what should presented initially in the brainsfit module. It is intended to welcome newcomers. These are not likely to know about registration technologies. We should therefore limit the simple screen to linear transforms up to affine. When the advanced panel is opened, the current interface is presented.

Problem is that cuts the presentation of sequential steps from Rigid to BSpline in half, making it harder to see/explain as a sequence/pipeline. Maybe if we format the high DOF options differently (shading/font) and label them as advanced? The majority of users I've come in contact with are interested in the BSpline components.

Anybody who wants to do b-spline needs to go to advanced. I am suggesting maintaining the entire current interface under advanced and just exposing the 6 and 12DOF (perhaps by duplicating them?) for the initial presentation.

Slicer Linear Transform should be called "Resulting Transform". We need another line which says "Initial Alignment" and allows for an initial pose. Parameters should be optimized for speed.

This was accomplished a long time ago, but it may not be showing up in the ITKv3 version of Slicer. We do not have the resources to backport. I thought that we were going to move to ITKv4 a year ago, so we put no effort into making a backwards compatible version for ITKv3.
