There are some problems when changing back and forth between "conventional" and axial "red view only". Steps to reproduce:

1) Load scene, starting at conventional view
2) Change to red view only
3) Change to conventional
4) Change to red view only
5) Change to conventional... etc.

At step 2, I see no less than 5 screen refreshes of the axial view, at different offsets or zooms. The whole process takes at least a second, just to switch views.

As you keep going from step 1, 3, 5, etc, the zoom of the red view keeps decreasing. Please see attached image for the dramatic visual effect!
