This still does not work for me after restart of slicer in mac nightly 9-16 (r18073).

this happens whenever I update Slicer-SuperBuild so maybe it is related to re-linking something, in case that helps... |

I downloaded the nightly build, added favorites, exit slicer, start the same version of slicer, the favorites are gone. |

In what file dialog (Open Scene, Import Scene, Add data, Add Volume...) do you add favorites ? It works for us on Mac. |

Can you also post the contents of the following files after you set the favorites and exit slicer? You can also try to delete these files and see if that change anything |

You suggested that this might be due to failure of saving, because Slicer crashes on exit. I observed that I do not get a crash on exit, if I start slicer and then exit or start slicer, load data use editor grow cut and then exit. If I use annotations I do get a crash on exit. Using one of the non crash scenarios, I was able to populate the panel with favorites. |
