Summary0000087: Error in startup script for slicer2.6-opt-win32-x86-2006-12-08.zip
Description

I downloaded slicer2.6-opt-win32-x86-2006-12-08.zip from http://www.na-mic.org/Slicer/Download/Release/win32. Then I extracted all files into C:\Slicer and pinned a shortcut to C:\Slicer\slicer2-win32-x86.exe to my Start menu.

However, when I execute slicer2-win32-x86.exe, after I click "OK" to the first window to accept the license agreement, a second window pops up entitled "Error in startup script". The body text of the Error message reads as follows:

couldn't execute "C:\Slicer\Lib\win32\tcl-build\biwish84.exe": no such file or directory
while executing
"open "|\"$::env(TCL_BIN_DIR)/wish84.exe\"\"$mainscript\"$argv"r"
invoked from within
"if {$::env(BUILD)==$solaris ||
$::env(BUILD)==$darwin ||
$::env(BUILD)==$linux_64 ||
$::env(BUILD)==$linux}{
$ - need to..."
(file "C:/Slicer/launch.tcl" line 407)
invoked from within
"Source $env(SLICER_HOME)/launch.tcl"
(file "C:/Slicer/slicer2-win32-x86.exe/main.tcl" line 29)

Additional Information

This error in startup script blocks me from starting Slicer ver 2.6 2006-12-08. I will try to download an earlier version.
