Summary0000065: File browsers broken on Windows
Description

The file browser dialogs are severely broken on Windows. There are 2 issues:
1.) The scrollbars in both the left and right-hand panes are overlapped by the content, and neither scrollbar is functional.
2.) The content is truncated, in that only a certain (apparently arbitrary) number of files/folders are displayed, even though the file system being displayed has more. Even with the broken scrollbars, one can force scrolling using the arrow keys, but this stops at some point, leaving additional files and folders invisible and unreachable.

A screen snapshot is enclosed showing the overlapped scrollbar problem. (highlighted with an ellipse.)

Well, I have tried twice to upload the screen snapshot, and each time the Mantis session crashes with 'Application Error 401' and a screenfull of garbage. I guess Mantis does not like the BMP mime type. You'll just have to take my word about the file browsers being broken. :) I am guessing this is a KWWidgets issue, not specifically a Slicer3 problem.

That's OK. If you can just email me the screenshots at hayes@bwh.harvard.edu, I'll try to figure out some way to convert the format and attach them to the bug report. Thanks, Katie

Last we heard there was no fix available for the scroll bars except removing the theming.

But - for people here the scrollbars are functional, just incorrectly drawn on XP. If yours are not functional this is still a major issue - do you have large fonts selected in your Windows display preferences? Or other non-standard setup?

There have been some recent updates in KWWidgets, could you do a Slicer3/Scripts/getbuildtest.tcl --update and check to see if the first issue was fixed?
