Summary | 0004593: Unable to import DICOM data via add data
Description | I drag and drop a DICOM produced from intravascular ultrasound into the red slice window. I then get an error window after OK-ing the "add data into the scene" window (that is the only data being imported in the window). The error is either "bad allocation" or an exception is thrown at

"Bad allocation" typically means out of memory, but here it might mean that slicer doesn't support this dicom data. Try the troubleshooting steps described here: https://www.slicer.org/wiki/Documentation/Nightly/FAQ/DICOM In particular the dicompatcher module might help. If you want to share data for troubleshooting be sure it doesn't include any patient identifiers. |

Closing, as user feedback (sample data set) would be required for further investigation. |
