Description | I experienced the following problem: when I superimpose two wolumes, one smaller than the other the background volume is not visible in some areas (see screenshot). I can send you the two volumes if you whish. | ||||

Sure, if you could attach the volumes to exactly replicate the issue that could help. Or if you can explain how to reproduce the issue (i.e. with sample data and crop volume) that would help. -Steve |

The problem is that the files are too big, can I send them to you directly? |

thanks - turns out I don't need the original data. I can replicate it as follows:
Whenever the slice viewers are scrolled outside of the bounds of the cropped volume the inset image becomes black. It seems this is a special case in the resample pipeline. I notice a few clues:
