I'd say that's worth trying - we may want to offer these as options at the bottom of the dicom module. I'm thinking that each plugin could offer modules that are appropriate for the data being loaded. Then at the bottom of the browser where the Load Into Slicer button is, we could have one of those little downward pointing arrow buttons with options like "Load and Switch to Multivolume Explorer" and "Load and Switch to Editor". It would look sort of like the mouse mode toolbar.
