Summary0002899: Python library gets installed in wrong directory on OpenSuse 12.2
Description

The python library gets installed in python-build/lib64 instead of python-build/lib. This causes problems when dependencies try to link to the python library since they can't find it in the default lib directory.

Looks good. Time to check it works as expected on MacOSX and will be integrating. Thanks

@Ricardo, what version of OpenSuse does this problem arise in?
I have a 64bit OpenSUSE 12.2 virtualbox created using www.susestudio.com and seems like python installs under python-build/lib
However, based on code review, it looks good. I am currently testing this on MacOSX as Jc suggested.

Update: Works fine on MacOSX. Good to go.

@Sankhesh: Would be great if you could integrate. While keeping ricardo as author, make sure to change "BUG" into "COMP" in the message.
